Joy Churchill

  • Currently serves as a faculty member at NKU with a position as the BSN Clinical Coordinator and member of the NRS 103 team. (She has been on the faculty at NKU — part-time and full- time — for many years.)
  • Received her master's nursing at the University of Kentucky.
  • Involved with Sigma Theta Tau since graduation from UK.
  • Charter member of Delta Psi Chapter at UK.
  • Active member of the Rho Theta Chapter at NKU since it was first developed under the guidance of Dr. Margaret Anderson as an Honor Society.
  • Served as chairperson of the steering committee from 1998-1999.
  • Served as an eligibility chairperson under the leadership of Mary Gers and with the assistance of Juanita Theile from 1999-2001.
  • Served as the second president of Rho Theta from 2002-2005.
  • Served as president of SONK (Southern Ohio Northern Kentucky) Consortium for three years from 2002-2005. The consortium presented two very successful scholarly programs during that time.
